How do I create a link to another website - a hyperlink?

Creating a link on your web page to another website - a hyperlink - is really simple with the ICE³ system.

1. Using the text editor, select the text that you wish to form the link.



2. Click the external link icon on the text editor.




3. This will bring up the external link popup window. From the Source drop-down selector, choose 'http:' and enter the destination website address.  Note: This address may be longer than the one shown, eg. www.bbc.co.uk/news/index.asp.



4. Finally, click the 'insert' button closing the popup window, and your link to the external website - the hyperlink - will be created.
